4sight licensing solutions, licensing agent for the Kennel Club and Crufts, has announced details of a new agreement with Universal Posters Ltd that will allow dog lovers to purchase unique, high-quality print products featuring images associated with both brands.

The Kennel Club is the largest organisation in the UK that is specifically dedicated to the health and welfare of dogs, with a broad remit to protect and promote their general wellbeing. At its heart are programmes and investments in education and health initiatives to ensure that dogs are healthy, happy and long-lived. The Kennel Club also organises and hosts Crufts, which is attended by dog lovers from the UK and overseas who come together to experience the competitions and events that celebrate the diverse role dogs play in society. The event is hugely popular and Crufts 2011 was no exception – 138,000 people attended the 120th anniversary show in March, whilst TV ratings for More4’s Crufts coverage were almost 50% up on 2010.

The new agreement covers the UK and Ireland and will see a range of photo quality prints and canvases available to purchase through their website universalposter.com and via home shopping TV channels. Universal Posters specialises in unique print products for artists such as Cliff Richard, David Hasselhoff and Tom Jones and top footballers from clubs including Arsenal FC and Chelsea FC. The new Kennel Club/Crufts range sees the company expanding into a new area by tapping into the huge popularity of these two brands.
