Max Adventures
Max Adventures, aimed at 6 – 10 year olds, features lovable Max the Lion and his friends. Max was originally introduced in Australia in 1953 as “Paddle Pop” the lovable character on kids ice cream. Today, a TV show based on Max follows him as he strives to protect his people against the evil Shadow Master. On this journey Max makes new friends, learns new skills and starts to appreciate the value of true friendship.
Max is the main character of a full scale marketing campaign by Unilever across Western Europe with high visibility at leisure and family parks, retail and restaurants, complete with costume character appearances, competitions and fun activities for kids. In addition, there is a dedicated Max Adventures website, with on-line games and many interactive features. 4Kids Entertainment International was chosen to lead the merchandising and licensing efforts across Western Europe in early 2011.
